More News
Today Camp A that I had not heard from in a long time called for and interview/offer. I was excited to hear from them but at the same time I felt bad because I had already taken a job at Camp Greystone. Both camps looked wonderful and I know I would have a great opportunity at both places but Camp Greystone is my top choice and I am so happy to be working there this summer. I wish that I could pack my bags now and go there for camp.

The News!
After waiting and checking the mail everyday at school and then coming home and checking that mail every day the letter finally came. I went to check the mail and didn't expect to get anything until after Christmas but there it was, a thin letter addressed to me from Camp B. I half expected something big and thick, like when I got my acceptance letter from State, so when it was thin I was a little worried. I got into the house and opened it in front of my mom and one of my best friends. I thought to myself this could go either really good or bad because of the audience, so as I was opening the letter I saw the second page with writing on it and knew that it was a good sign. I opened the full letter and read about three words until I got the the word Congratulations. I then began to jump up and down in excitement. I had gotten my top choice and I would get to work at the cute picture perfect camp. The rest of my day went very well and I could not wait for it to be summer even though Christmas was just in a couple of days.
Waiting...
About mid October I started making a list of summer camps that looked adorable. I finally got around to applying and sent out my applications in the mail after some help from mom of course. Then it was time to wait. I heard back from two camps saying they had received my application. Camp A had said that they had a lot of returning staff so I would hear back from them soon. That is the last thing I have heard from them. Camp B on the other hand emailed me about times to interview. I was so excited because this was my first choice. I responded immediately with several times and again waited. I then heard back again from Camp B with an interview time and was very excited. Then the time came, I answered the phone and heard a nice sweet voice on the other end. As we talked the conversation was wonderful and i could picture myself more and more at this camp and it turns out the the lady was in Chi-O too, so it made me feel even better! After I hung up the phone I felt really good about the job. Then came the waiting, again, but this was going to be worth the wait, I could feel it.
